Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada is a prestigious, sought after area in the Costa Blanca.  It is surrounded by the villages of Rojales and Benijofar and comes under the municipal of Rojales. It is only 10 minutes from Guardamar del Seguro and Torrievieja, where you can find multiple shopping centres and beaches.  Ciudad Quesada has a diverse community with many different ethnicities from British to Spanish, Dutch, Norwegian and more.

Ciudad Quesada has its own golf course situated in the La Marquesa area.  This is a highly sought after area, with fantastic views and a commercial zone which is where our office is located, right next to The Club house restaurant and below Sculpt Fitness Studio.  There you can attend a range of classes from Spinning to Yoga and Pilates. They do a range of classes and times and you don’t have to become a member to attend, what a great way to work off those few extra calories from the fine food and cocktails the night before.

The commercial zone also has a barber, beautician, hairdresser, supermarket, bars and restaurants which are all situated next to the 18 hole golf course.  It is about a 15 minute flat walk from here into the centre of Rojales.

The Aqua Park in Quesada has something for everyone.  You can enjoy the beautiful weather, the slides and pools, with lots of shaded areas where you can take time out to relax and enjoy a picnic, just remember to bring plenty of sunscreen!  It is usually open during the summer months and when the local Spanish schools are closed

The main street in Ciudad Quesada has a selection of shops including a shoe shop, tobacco shop, opticians, hearing centre, doctors, dentist, pharmacy, florist, post office as well as bowling, mini golf, a bike shop and plenty of busy bars and restaurants which have a good variety of live entertainment, dancing and karaoke nights.  Surrounding the main street there are a variety of supermarkets and butchers.  During summer there are often some festivals, with parades and live music in the centre.

Benijofar

Benijofar which includes Benimar is situated between Rojales and Ciudad Quesada.  It is a charming Spanish style village with some bars, restaurants and amenities.  There is a small but beautiful church there with a quaint plaza outside.  The town hall often organise a Christmas market and various events there.  Many Spanish regions here have a Tapas route known as “Rueda de las Tapas” or The Tapas Wheel, which happens once a year, however Benijofar is known for having some great gastronomical restaurants and being in a small area, it is easy to walk from one participating café/restaurant to another. It is usually around the start of October and costs about €2 for a tapas and a beer/wine.  You can get a card with all the participating restaurants at the town hall or the restaurants themselves, which gets stamped at each place.  You can also vote for your best restaurant online and there are some prize draws that you can enter.  The community here are mixed with many Spanish and British people living in the area.  There is also a British bakery and butcher there called Hamiltons.
